High-profile prisoner Anmol alias Pinky to be shifted to SIUT as health deteriorates
The Sindh government has decided to shift high-profile female prisoner Anmol, also known as “Pinky,” to the Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation (SIUT Karachi) after her health reportedly deteriorated, prison authorities said on Tuesday.
According to jail officials, Anmol alias Pinky, who is wanted in 23 criminal cases, will be transferred to SIUT today for medical examination under strict security arrangements.
Sindh prison authorities have directed comprehensive security measures for the transfer and medical check-up, terming the matter “extremely urgent.”
The Inspector General Prisons has also ordered senior-level monitoring of all security arrangements related to the movement of the prisoner.
Officials said a special police squad has been summoned from Karachi police to ensure foolproof security during the transfer. Lady police personnel along with an armoured personnel carrier (APC) have also been deployed for the operation.
Authorities added that strict directives have been issued to maintain heightened vigilance throughout the prisoner’s movement and medical examination process.
