Hearing of graft cases against Shehbaz, Hamza put off

An accountability court (AC) in Lahore on Friday adjourned hearings of Ashiana Housing Scheme and Ramzan Sugar Mills’ references filed against Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif and Leader of the Opposition in the Punjab Assembly Hamza Shehbaz until December 6 and December 13, respectively, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Both Shehbaz and his son Hamza were marked present by the court.
The court also summoned witnesses in both the cases on the next hearings.
At the same time, accountability court-II adjourned the hearing of a money laundering case against both the Sharifs until December 13 when their counsel prayed to the court to defer the hearing because Ali Ahmed, one of the suspects in the case, was in police custody on remand.
