Mansha Pasha believes Desi style is the sustainable fashion

Famous film and Television actress Mansha Pasha has taken to twitter to give her opinion on sustainable fashion.

Taking to Twitter, she wrote: "Sustainable fashion/living: Don’t know why this has become a trend because it’s been given a fancy name," wrote the Laal Kabootar star.

"It’s basically what parents in the subcontinent have always taught their children: cheezon ko zaya mat karo aur kapre ko alag alag occasions par use karo! (Don't waste anything and learn to reuse outfits on different occasions)," Pasha added.

The actor who recently celebrated her 33rd birthday felt sustainable fashion wasn't anything desis needed to be taught, since they practiced it on a daily basis by reusing or sharing clothes.

"Growing up my sisters and I wore each other’s clothes multiple times," she continued. Pasha then revealed how the same was practiced on her, Sanam Saeed and Fawad Khan's hit television serial Zindagi Gulzar Hai.

"The same was done on the Zindagi Gulzar Hai set to give the true vibe of a desi household. In some scenes, I wore Sanam's clothes and in others, she wore mine or Sana's. In short, desi fashion is a sustainable fashion," she concluded.
