Goods transporters’ protest continued, petroleum retailers to follow from Nov 05

Protest of the All Pakistan Transporters Owners Oil and Goods Association (APGTA) Tuesday continued at Hub River Road in Karachi on the second consecutive day.
While the All Pakistan Petroleum Retailers Association (APPRA) also announced to hold protest from November 05 and demanded an increase in their profit margin.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, APGTA was holding a protest demonstration in Karachi against an increase of prices of diesel and changes in the rates of petroleum products fortnightly.
Oil tankers and goods transport owners and drivers were participating in the protest demonstration.
On the other hand, the APPRA leader Sameer Najamul Hussain demanded the government that it should increase the profit margin of the retailers.
He warned the government that they would go on strike from November 05 if their demands would not meet within the deadline.
