The US State Department has appreciated the Pakistan government’s efforts in the evacuation of US citizens and others from Afghanistan.
The State Department praised Pakistan’s assistance in providing safe passage from Afghanistan for US citizens, lawful permanent residents (LPRs) and Afghan nationals to whom the United States has a special commitment.
In a tweet uploaded on Twitter, the State Department said Washington will continue to engage with Pakistan to assist the Afghan people and aid regional stability.
