Country destroyed while punishing me: Nawaz Sharif

PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif on Saturday vowed that they would no more allow making the country a joke, which, he said, had been destroyed during the process of punishing him.

In a tweet, Nawaz shared a video which contained the clips of a speech delivered by former IHC judge Shaukat Siddiqui as well as a recent interview of JUI-F leader Abdul Ghafoor Haideri to prove his point.

“This is the reality of the accountability by which you targeted the three-time prime for vengeance, got [him] sentenced and declared absconder,” he said. 

“The entire country was destroyed while punishing me. Now we would no more allow making the country a joke,” Nawaz added.
