PML-N leader Talal Chaudhry is under treatment at a hospital in Lahore after being injured. But the question is: how was he injured? There are conflicting reports about the nature of this incident, which started with a version that he fell from stairs.
In this connection, 24NewsHD TV channel, citing police sources, said Talal had a fight at a house in Abdullah Garden, Faisalabad. Moreover, the TV channel also obtained the record of a call by Talal to 15 for police assistance.
Talal’s family sources say he has been hospitalised as he fell from stairs – an account negated by the police sources who are sharing a completely different story.
These sources say Talal has been tortured at house in Abdullah Garden on the night between Tuesday and Wednesday.
It is said that the PML-N leader, who also served as a state minister during the party’s last tenure, had visited the place to meet someone where some people thrashed him, causing severe injuries.
According to the police record, he called the police for help at 3:05am and said that three armed men had tortured him.
But there was another call from the other party, in which the caller said that Talal had a fight with them and fled after the incident.
Later, Talal opted against visiting any health facility in Faisalabad and got admitted in Lahore’s National Hospital located in the DHA area.
On the other hand, 24NewsHD, amid the rumours, contacted Ayesha Rajab Baloch – a National Assembly member of PML-N – and asked that there were reports about her having a fight with Talal.
However, Baloch rejected the reports, saying she did not experience any incident.
