Hamza admits PML-N leadership decided to give extension to COAS
Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Hamza Shehbaz Sharif Sunday admitted that his party leadership had decided to give an extension to the army chief.
According to the 24News HD TV Channel, Hamza, the Opposition Leader in Punjab Assembly also endorsed the decision of giving the extension to army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa by saying that it was the right decision of the party.
Talking to the media after visiting a party leader Haji Noor Bhatti’s residence in Lahore, Hamza said inflation was at its peak in the Imran government.
He said whenever they talked about the ‘compromise’, opponents alleged them but his party’s reconciliation was to hold the next general election transparent.
He further stated that they had given the time to the government for the reason of exposing its incompetency before the people, and now it has been fully exposed.
He said the government had failed to control coronavirus and dengue. He said the nation had forgotten dengue which came again due to the incompetence of the government.
He said a game of musical chair was going on in Punjab and 18 commissioners and chief secretaries were being transferred in a day. He also said that posts in the police were being distributed through bribery.
