Muhammad Hafeez pulls out of National T20 Cup's Rawalpindi matches
National cricket team all-rounder Muhammad Hafeez has withdrawn from the T20 matches that will be held in Rawalpindi due to ill health, reported 24NewsHD TV on Sunday.
He was part of the Central Punjab team in the National T20 Cup. Sources said that ace cricketer Mohammad Hafeez, 40, was permitted to leave Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium due to food poisoning. He had to leave the tournament and the all-rounder left Islamabad for Lahore where his blood tests are expected today.
According to sources, Mohammad Hafeez will join the Central Punjab team in the matches to be played in the Lahore leg. Team Central Punjab’s management said that Mohammad Hafeez is in good health now but the doctor has advised him to rest.
