Chinese Consul General calls on President Zardari in Karachi

Chinese Consul General Yang Yundong congratulated President Asif Ali Zardari on his successful visit to China recently, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

President Zardari thanked the Chinese leadership for hospitality and goodwill during visit to China. The President said that the MoUs signed during the visit will prove beneficial for the people of Pakistan, especially farmers associated with agriculture and livestock sector.

President Zardari hailed the 14th meeting of the CPEC Joint Cooperation Committee (JCC) in Beijing. The President termed the launch of CPEC Phase II as an important milestone in Pakistan-China relations. 

President said that he is confident that the new phase of CPEC will open new avenues for Pakistan’s economy by focusing on people-to-people development, innovation, agriculture and export promotion. The CPEC Phase Two will further strengthen the all-weather friendship between Pakistan and China. 

President Zardari also congratulated the government and people of China on the upcoming National Day.
