Punjab Governor urges Punjab govt to provide maximum relief to flood victims
Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider has said that it is the responsibility of the Punjab government to provide maximum relief to the flood victims, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Talking to the media in Gujranwala, Punjab Governor said that people are in trouble due to the flood disaster. The aim is to provide relief to the people instead of politics over the flood. Immediate relief can be provided through Benazir Income Support. If the CM Punjab wants to give one million rupees to the victims, then there is nothing better than that.
Sardar Saleem said that it is not enough to pay even two million rupees instead of one million rupees for the damage to people's houses and livestock. It is the responsibility of the Punjab government to provide relief to those who have suffered losses.
Governor Punjab said that the PPP wants solutions to the problems of the people, and the PML-N also wants the same, so it is a good thing.
Sardar Saleem said that the US President's meeting with the Prime Minister and Field Marshal was a matter of honor. It is a good thing that the US President met with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir.
PPP leader said Pakistan-US relations are moving forward on an equal footing. The meeting with the US President will have positive effects. Moreover, we have a brotherly relationship with China. The entire nation is happy and proud.
Governor of Punjab said that just as Allah gave victory in the Pak-India war, we pray that the Pakistani team will win the Asia Cup final. The nation is emotional about the Pakistan-India match, but the game should be kept to the game.
