The ARY News shut its Islamabad bureau on Monday after coronavirus was found in several employees, 24NewsHD reported.

All the journalists associated with the private TV channel were directed to work from home as eight staff members out of a total of 20 had been tested positive.

Both journalists and media workers are among those who have been infected by the virus.

Confirming the news, ARY News CEO Salman Iqbal in a tweet said the samples of all employees working at the Islamabad bureau were being collected for testing.
