The demand for checking domiciles of PTI MPAs triggered rumpus in the Sindh Assembly on Monday.
The ruling party lawmaker, Zulfiqar Shah, raised the demand alleging the PTI MPAs reached power corridor having fake domiciles. The uproar resulted in the adjournment of the session. Talking about the quarterly budget report Shah took a swipe at the federal government for what he called depriving Sindh of its due rights.
Although Sindh tops the taxpayers' list of the federal government, the province is still being deprived of electricity and gas. He said people will pelt them with eggs and tomatoes in the next general election. As soon as he raised the demand for checking the domiciles of the PTI provincial assembly members, they stood up and started registering protest over the demand.
However, Arsalan Taj and Adeel Ahmad of PTI said the Baboos are fooling the people of Sindh. Agha Siraj reiterated the request for keeping the irrelevant persons away from the assembly in wake of the third wave of the pandemic.
