Iranian ambassador thanks Pakistan for crucial role in peace talks

The Iranian ambassador has expressed deep gratitude to Pakistan for its role in promoting regional peace and for hosting the Iranian delegation during a recent diplomatic visit.

In a statement issued by the Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan Reza Amiri Moghadam on X on the conclusion of Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi's trip, he said the visit was part of a broader regional diplomatic tour aimed at reviewing bilateral relations and holding consultations on key regional developments.

He write on X, "At the end of This round of the visit of the Iranian delegation, H.E. Syyed Abbas Araghchi, Honorable Minister of Foreign Affairs to Pakistan at the onset of the regional diplomatic tour, which was carried out with the aim of reviewing bilateral relations and consulting on the issue of regional developments, I would like to express my sincere and wholehearted gratitude and appreciation to the government, army and people of Pakistan, especially H.E. Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir, for their tireless efforts and good office initiative to end the war and bring lasting peace to the region.

"Like the previous round, this round was held in complete security, safety and tranquility for the delegation achieved with the competent and perfect management, thoughtful planning and successful implementation by the brotherly, friendly and neighboring country of Pakistan.

"Here, I express my sincere gratitude to the army staffs, security forces, police, employees of all executive institutions and especially the honorable people of Pakistan and Islamabad residents, for their patience, hospitality and cooperative synergy during this period.
