PM writes letter to Shehbaz Sharif for appointment of ECP members
Prime Minister Imran Khan has written a letter to the Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly, Shehbaz Sharif regarding the appointment of members to vacant posts in the Election Commission.
Releasing a message on social networking site Twitter, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry said that Prime Minister Imran Khan had written a letter to the Leader of the Opposition in accordance with Articles 213 and 218 of the Constitution for the vacant posts of members in the Election Commission.

Three names have been suggested in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Fawad Chaudhry further said that the Election Commission members could be appointed after the response of the opposition on these names.
