Two minor sisters drowned while bathing in a pond situated near village Hamzo Chacha of Qamber Shahdadkot district on Sunday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to rescue officials, the elder girl Majida (8) died on the spot while her younger sister Sajida (6) was shifted to hospital in a critical condition but she, too, could not survive.

Father of the deceased girls said that while we went to the market to purchase fertilizers, the girls brought food for us and started swimming in the pond on their way back.
