Election Tribunal approves Rana Sanaullah’s nomination papers for Senate by-elections

The Election Tribunal has approved former federal minister Rana Sanaullah's nomination papers for the Senate by-election and dismissed the appeal against the approval of his nomination papers with a fine, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

The Election Tribunal dismissed Advocate Muhammad Afaq's appeal with a fine of Rs 500000.

Justice Khalid Ishaq ordered that no case should be filed until the petitioner pays the fine.

Advocate Muhammad Afaq filed an appeal against Rana Sanaullah's nomination papers.

Additional Attorney General Malik Javed Awan appeared on behalf of Rana Sanaullah.
