Four members of a family murdered in Lahore
A man murdered four members of his family over a domestic issue in Village Heir, Lahore, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
According to the details, one Imran allegedly knifed his wife, daughter, nephew, and father-in-law to death after an altercation with them and escaped.
The gruesome murder of four people sent a wave of shock through the village, with people expressing sorrow and grief with the bereaved family.
Those slain in the knife attack have been identified as Fozia, the wife of the killer; Zanib, 15, daughter; Raza, 15, nephew; and Mirza, 55, father-in-law.
The suspect escaped after the incident. Police, after registering a case against the accused Imran, constituted different teams to apprehend the accused. Later police shifted the dead bodies to the local hospital’s mortuary.
Cantonment Superintendent of Police Qazi Ali Raza said a police team has been formed to arrest the accused. He said a case has been registered against the suspected killer.
He vowed to bring the culprit to justice and reassure the bereaved family that they would be provided with justice after giving exemplary punishment to the perpetrator.
