Pakistan coronavirus positivity ratio drops to 5.57 percent

The coronavirus positivity ratio in Pakistan has dropped to 5.57 percent on Sunday, the National Command and Operations Centre (NCOC) said.
According to the latest NCOC figures, as of December 27, the highest positivity ratio was recorded in Abbottabad 25.53 percent, followed by Karachi 13.56% and Faisalabad 10.14%.
The number of patients in serious condition is rising fast in Pakistan as 2,282 Covid patients were critical across the country.
The positivity ratio in various federating units was: AJK 11.54%, Balochistan 7.69%, GB 0.89%, Islamabad 3.81%, KP 7.15%, Punjab 3.98% and Sindh 7.36%.
The province-wise Covid positivity ratio was as under:
Punjab: Lahore 6.06%, Rawalpindi 4.21%, Faisalabad 10.14%, Multan 4.08%.
Sindh: Karachi 13.56%, Hyderabad 6.83%.
KP: Peshawar 6.98%, Abbottabad 25.53%.
Balochistan: Quetta 8.33%.
Islamabad: ICT 3.81%.
AJK: Mirpur 9.68%, Muzaffarabad 0.00%.
