Veteran Pakistani actor Saba Faisal marked a family milestone, extending heartfelt anniversary wishes to her son Arslan Faisal and his wife Nisha Talat on their second wedding anniversary.

The well‑wishes came in response to a heartfelt Instagram carousel shared by Nisha, featuring cherished moments from their baraat day.

In her post, Nisha captioned the carousel with a loving message to her husband, writing:

“Happy 2nd anniversary @arslan_faisal

Blessed that Allah made you my partner Alhumdulillah!

Lucky to have you as my partner and for having Huzaifa the Apple to our eyes.

May Allah always bless you with health and afiyat in every part of your life ameen!

Love you forever.”

Saba Faisal responded to the post with a series of warm comments that reflected both affection and pride.

She wrote, “Happiest wedding anniversary to both of you My ashi and My nishoooo,” followed by another comment: “Allah aap dono ka saath aur muskurahat hamaisha qaim rakhay.”

She also added a touch of admiration for Nisha’s bridal look with, “Prettiest bride,” celebrating the joy and elegance captured in the photos.

The anniversary pictures show Arslan Faisal in a richly embroidered gold sherwani, sharing tender moments with Nisha, who is adorned in a striking red lehenga that reflects the traditional grandeur of their wedding day.

In the snapshots, the couple is seen exchanging affectionate gestures. Arslan twirling his wife, sharing a kiss, and laughing together capturing the ease and warmth of their bond.

Saba Faisal’s public tribute on social media adds a touching layer to the family celebration, underlining the close relationships within one of Pakistan’s most admired entertainment families.

Her words carry genuine affection and goodwill, acknowledging both her son and daughter‑in‑law on their special day.

However, earlier this month, on Good Morning Pakistan, she addressed a gathering of young women, offering advice on how to navigate life in their new homes.

Reflecting on her own experiences, she said, “Your in-laws’ house is one place you should become deaf and dumb, that’s how you have a peaceful life.”

She also recounted how her mother-in-law controlled her wedding dresses and daily routine, framing these strict practices as “values” she wanted to pass on.

While intended as guidance, her remarks sparked criticism on social media, with some calling them “archaic” and “authoritarian,” and fellow actors like Fiza Ali and Hira Khan questioning whether such ideas should be promoted publicly in 2025.

This is why some fans were baffled by mother-in-law's overpowering love for daughter-in-law.

One user said: "Show baaz family", while another (from an earlier post of the lovebirds) said: "Ap tou khush raho gay magar agar os nay aap ko khush rahnay diya tooo".

Despite these comments, many people appreciated the couple and wished them well.

Saba Faisal has been a fixture of the Pakistani entertainment industry for decades, beginning her career as a newscaster on PTV before transitioning to acting in the mid‑1990s.

Over the years, she has become known for her versatile performances in a wide range of television dramas.

Her notable credits include Humsafar, Durr‑e‑Shehwar, Pyarey Afzal, Ishq Tamasha, Baaghi, Ghisi Pitti Mohabbat, and Dil Wali Gali Mein, among many others. In recent years she has appeared in dramas such as Mujhay Qabool Nahin, Chand Tara, and Khaie.

In addition to television, she has appeared in films including Rangreza and London Nahi Jaunga and recently expanded into digital projects.

Throughout her career, Saba Faisal has been recognised for her ability to bring depth and nuance to maternal and supporting roles, earning praise for her acting range and screen presence.
