According to the cause list of the cases to be taken up by the Supreme Court’s (SC) principal seat in Islamabad next week, four benches will hear cases and Justice Qazi Faez Isa is not on any of them, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

One of the benches will comprise of Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Gulzar Ahmed, Justice Ijazul Ahsan and Justice Mazahar Ali Akbar Naqvi while the second bench will comprise of Justice Mushir Alam, Justice Sardar Tariq and Justice Yahya Afridi.

Similarly, Justice Umar Ata Bandial, Justice Sajjad Ali Shah and Justice Munib Akhtar will be part of the third bench while Justice Maqbool Baqir, Justice Mansoor Ali Shah and Justice Qazi Muhammad Amin will be included in the fourth bench. 

The apex court will hear lawyers' fake degrees case on Monday while the hearing of Talha Raza and Hussain Lawai’s, suspects in fake bank accounts case, bail petition will be conducted on Tuesday.

Similarly, the bail application of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Syed Khursheed Shah will be taken up for hearing on Wednesday while the bail cancellation case of Khursheed’s family members and co-suspects will also be heard on Wednesday. 

The SC will hear the bail petition filed by Ijaz Jakhrani, adviser to Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, also on Wednesday. 

Likewise, the petition filed, seeking ineligibility of Faryal Talpur, PPP leader and sister of PPP Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari, to contest Sindh Assembly election will be taken up for hearing on Friday.
