The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) announced discounted fares on various domestic flights including the Islamabad-Lahore route on the eve of the spring season, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

A PIA spokesperson said the airline will charge Rs7,500 for a one-way flight between Karachi and Lahore and a passenger can carry up to 20kg luggage as well, while with 40kg luggage the fare will be Rs8,500.

The national airline announced that the Islamabad-Chitral revised fare is Rs5,965. It may be mentioned here that weekly two flights operate between Islamabad and Chitral.

All the new and revised fares will be applicable immediately. 

The spokesperson said people like to travel in the spring season and to enjoy the spring festival, the PIA introduced a special discount on various routes.
