Deputy Director Dar-e-Arqam Schools Karachi Region and Vice Chairman Federation of Private Schools Pakistan Syed Khalid Raza was shot dead by alleged dacoits at the door of his house in Gulistan-e-Jauhar Block 7, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday. 

Syed Khalid Raza was about to board his car to participate in a function with his wife, when two armed assailants riding a motorbike shot him dead. 

The investigators said that the murder was a target killing and motives behind the crime were being ascertained. They said attackers did not snatch anything from the victim. He was directly shot in the head. The wife of Syed Khalid Raza was yet to come out of the house when the incident took place. 

Khalid Raza belonged to a political party. 

Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori condemned the murder of Khalid Raza and ordered the Additional IG Sindh to submit report about the incident. He directed the police to investigate the killing keeping in view every aspect. 

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah also took notice of the incident and sought a report from Additional IG Karachi. He expressed his heartfelt condolences to the family members on the killing.

The Namaz-i-Janaza of Vice Chairman Federation of Private Schools Pakistan Syed Khalid Raza was offered after Zuhr prayers at a mosque near his home.
