Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Aamir Dogar has written a letter to the speaker for initiating the process of electing Shah Mehmood Qureshi as the leader of the opposition in the National Assembly.

After the Lahore High Court's February 20 orders, the PTI has become the largest opposition party in the National Assembly, so the leader of the opposition be from it. 

According to him, he wrote to the speaker under the directives of the party chief.
