Lahore Qalandars are jubilant over the massive win against Peshawar Zalmi in their fourth match, thanks to top-order batsman Fakhar Zaman (96) and star pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi (five-for).

Lahore Qalandars, from their official Twitter handle, uploaded pictures and videos of their excellent performance against Peshawar Zalmi.

They expressed contentment over the incredible display of power-hitting by their batters who helped Qalandars post 241 for 3, the highest batting total so far in the eighth edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL).

The team showered the top-order, Abdullah Shafique (75) and Fakhar Zaman (96), with praises for sending numerous balls flying for a boundary.

The team also heaped praises on captain Shaheen Shah Afridi who propelled Qalandars to thump potent rival Peshawar Zalmi by sending 5 batters back to the hut.

It is to be noted here that Lahore Qalandars have played four matches so far in the eighth edition of PSL, and they have won three of them. The team had been defeated in their second match against Karachi Kings.

Today, Qalandars will lock horns with Islamabad United in Lahore. The match will be played between the two teams at 7:00 PM.
