A police cop was martyred during an exchange of fire with suspects in the Badaber area of Peshawar, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.  

The event unfolded when the Peshawar police attempted to intervene and halt suspicious individuals in Badaber area.

As police cops approached the suspects, they encountered resistance, leading to a sudden exchange of gunfire initiated by the accused.

During the confrontation, one brave police constable Touseef Khan tragically lost his life in the line of duty.

He was rushed to a nearby hospital but succumbed to injuries sustained during the exchange of fire with the armed assailants.

Peshawar police and authorities have launched an investigation into the incident to apprehend the perpetrators responsible for the cowardly attack on law enforcement officers.
