Federal cabinet approvs construction of Pakistan-Iran Gas Pipeline

The federal cabinet approved on Monday the construction of Pakistan-Iran gas pipeline from Iranian border to Gwadar.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the summary was approved through circulation from the federal cabinet.
In the first phase, construction of 80 km pipeline was approved
Pakistan will lay an 80 km pipeline on its territory.
Construction work will be started under the IP gas pipeline project and it will take one year to lay the 80 km pipeline.
In the first phase, the estimated cost of the 80 km project is 158 million dollars and these funds will be provided by GIDC.
Earlier, the Cabinet Energy Committee had approved the construction of the gas pipeline
