Governor Balochistan Abdul Wali Kakar has nominated senior parliamentarian Engineer Zamarak Khan Piralizai to chair the inaugural session of Balochistan Assembly, reported 241NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

Senior member of the Balochistan Assembly Engineer Zamarak Khan Piralizai will preside over the session during which the newly-elected members will take oath.  

 He will perform duty in place of Mir Jan Muhammad Jamali who is away from Quetta owing to his personal engagements.  

Zamrak is considered among the senior members of Balochistan Assembly.

 Governor Balochistan has issued a notification in this regard.  

The notification further read out that former speaker Balochistan Assembly Raheela Durrani will preside over the session in the absence of Engineer Zamrak.

The Balochistan Assembly is scheduled to convene a session for the newly-elected members on Feb 28, Wednesday.

Balochistan Governor Abdul Wali Kakar has summoned the assembly session.

Following the Feb 8 polls, which were marred by rigging allegations and protests, the oath-taking ceremonies for the newly-elected members of the Punjab and Sindh assemblies have already concluded.
