Omar Ayub slams jail admin for not allowing PTI leaders to meet Imran Khan
Opposition leader in National Assembly Omar Ayub has said that Adiala Jail administration did not allow them to meet PTI founder Imran Khan even after wait of more than an hour despite the court’s orders, reported 24NewsHDTV channel.
Talking to media outside jail, Omar Ayub said PTI founder Imran Khan himself had given the names of six party leaders for meeting but jail administration did not allow them to meet Imran Khan.
He said Junaid Akbar, Sahibzada Hamid Raza, Kanwal Shuzab and Taimur Jhagra stood in the rain for an hour but they were not allowed to meet Imran Khan.
Omar Ayub told media that during meeting with the Chief Justice of Pakistan, he described the whole situation and told the Chief Justice of Pakistan that the courts have no authority as ssubordinate courts are giving long dates.
Omar Ayub said the CJP was told that the fundamental rights of the founder PTI were being taken away, adding that he placed the issues of all our prisoners before the Chief Justice of Pakistan.
He also criticized PTI government for violating the constitution and the rule of law.
