Rash drivers to face heavy fines, vehicle impoundment on motorways

Beware! Now the people exceeding the speed limit while driving their cars on motorways will not only be fined but their vehicles will be impounded as well, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

According to the fresh directives issued by the IG Motorway Police (MP), in order discourage people from driving at a fast speed, heavy fines will be imposed on those driving at a speed between 120 kilometers per hour and 150 kilometers per hour while the vehicles of those driving at a speed of 150 kilometers per hour will be seized as well besides the imposition of a heavy fine. 

In this connection, the MP has launched a special campaign.

It is worth-mentioning her that the prescribed speed limit for a car on the motorway is 120 kilometers per hour while for public service vehicles is 110 kilometers per hour.
