Rs2.3m robbery solved, Lahore police recover looted money

Police have won praise for solving a Rs2.3 million dacoity case by tracing the culprit and putting him behind bars, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The dacoity which was occurred in the busy Akbari Mandi area saw a citizen losing the hefty amount at gunpoint.

The accused had looted the amount from Fayyaz at gunpoint and after getting the information SP City Division Qazi Ali Raza took notice and ordered swift action and arrest of the culprit.

SHO Akbari Gate Police Station Hashim Raza used CCTV footage and human intelligence to track down and arrest the suspect. The stolen money was recovered and returned to the victim, who praised the efforts of the police.

DIG Operations Lahore Muhammad Faisal Kamran announced a reward for SP City Division Qazi Ali Raza and SHO Hashim Raza for their quick action. He also reaffirmed the police’s commitment to continue crackdowns against criminals.
