One suspect was killed, another was injured while two others managed to flee in an alleged police encounter on the second consecutive day in Islamabad on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Spokesman for the Force said that police personnel deputed at a check-post in sector G-13 signaled a car to stop. “But those sitting inside it started firing at the police indiscriminately without any provocation forcing the police to return the fire,” he said.

Police said it had seized the car and launched a hunt for the absconders.   

Yesterday, on Wednesday too, the spokesman said, there was an encounter in sector 1-9 of the federal capital.
