CM Mohsin visits Mayo Hospital, assures victim Maryam to provide justice

Caretaker Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi Friday made a surprise visit to Mayo Hospital and inquired after the health of the victim of domestic violence Maryam.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, CM Mohsin Naqvi consoled the girl and assured her to provide justice.
The victim Maryam cried while narrating the incident of torture and arson to the CM who encouraged Maryam and prayed for her speedy recovery.
CM Mohsin asked the doctors about Maryam's treatment and gave some necessary instructions to the hospital administration for her medical care.
He instructed the Mayo hospital administration that no effort should be spared for Maryam's treatment and ordered the doctors to provide the best treatment facilities to her.
During the visit, CM Mohsin Naqvi also met Sakina Bibi, the mother of Maryam, and assured her of justice.
He said the incident of torture and burning of Maryam is a matter of concern for the entire society, adding that justice will be done to Maryam and he will personally pursue the progress on the case.
The provincial ministers Dr Javed Akram, Amir Mir, and CCPO Lahore Bilal Kamyana were also present during the CM's visit to Mayo Hospital.
