ECP to consult parties on election code of conduct

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has prepared a draft of the code of conduct for the upcoming general elections, wherein all political parties will be consulted, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
In this regard, the ECP has invited the heads of 21 major political parties for a meeting on February 2 to seek their suggestions.
The meeting will be held under the chairmanship of the Chief Election Commissioner on February 2 at 2 pm, for which invitations have been sent to the parties.
Political parties which were invited are Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), PML-N, PPP, MMA, MQM Pakistan, PML-Q, BAP, ANP, PK MAP, GDA, Jamaat-e-Islami, National Party, BNP, Jamhuri Watan Party, Awami Muslim League, BNP Awami, JUI, Rah-e-Haq, PML-F, and Hazara Democrat Party.
