80-year-old man from Shujaabad dares youth to match his fitness

Contrary to the people, who become weak and frail as they grow older, particularly when they are over 60, Malik Mumtaz, an 80-year-old man from Shujaabad, has kept himself fit and challenged the youth to compete with him in health and physical fitness, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

In a chat with 24News, he said that despite being in 80s, he exercised daily for hours and eats simple diet. “I have made an arrangement for exercise at my farmhouse where I exercise thrice a day,” he added.
Furthermore, he claimed he did not take medicines for treatment purposes even in this old age.

Mumtaz further said that he consumed milk, yoghurt, bread and mutton in his diet. “Besides that I also swim and prefer travelling on a bicycle or on foot rather than in a car,” the old man explained.
