Asks how can country develop if development budget decreasing?

Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal said Wednesday while addressing a ceremony in Islamabad, “How can a country progress if its development budget is decreasing?” reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

He said, “Doing legislation is a prerogative of the parliamentarians. The Parliament approves the budget too.”
He stated, “Two-thirds of Pakistan’s population consists of youth. We have been left behind the world.”
He added, “Pakistan is at the mercy of the International Monetary Fund (IMF). The economic development of the country depends on its policies.
He claimed, “When we left the government in 2018, the development budget was Rs1,000 billion.”
