Mysterious murder: Mother of three found dead in locked home in Rawalpindi

Another tragic incident of a married woman’s murder has surfaced in Rawalpindi. The incident occurred yesterday in the Shakrial area, within the jurisdiction of Sadiqabad Police Station, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.

According to the report, the victim was identified as Sidra Azam, a mother of three children. According to police, a case has been registered on the complaint of her husband, Umar Farooq.

In his statement, the complainant said he was informed of the tragedy through a phone call made by a female relative. He added that prior to the incident, his wife had sent their children to a relative’s home.

Upon returning to his house, Umar Farooq found the main door locked from the inside. After gaining entry, he discovered his wife lying in a pool of blood. 

He stated that an unknown individual had broken into their home and murdered his wife.

Rawalpindi Police have started an investigation and recorded the statements of the husband and other family members. 

The victim’s body was sent for post-mortem examination as part of the ongoing inquiry.

Police say that all angles are being examined, and further developments will be shared after forensic and investigative procedures are complete.
