Neelofer Abbasi questions cosmetic surgery trend among TV actresses
Veteran Pakistani actress and author Neelofer Abbasi has shared her thoughts on the growing trend of cosmetic surgery among television actresses.
The drama serial Aroosa actress said that she does not understand why naturally beautiful performers feel the need to alter their appearance.
Neelofer said many talented and attractive young actresses appear on television with naturally beautiful features but they still choose to undergo cosmetic procedures.
She remarked that they do not need for surgery because acoording to her God has already blessed them with beautiful faces.

The senior actress also quoted that one of the biggest drawbacks of cosmetic enhancements is that many faces begin to look alike, making it difficult to differentiate one actress from another.
Neelofer Abbasi is regarded as one of Pakistan's most respected television veterans.

She rose to fame with her breakthrough role as Tara in the classic PTV drama Shehzori, written by Haseena Moin, and has since appeared in notable dramas including Aroosa, Naya Raasta, Jackson Heights, Happy Eid Mubarak, and Eid Ka Jora.

Beginning her career in radio before transitioning to television, Neelofer has spent more than five decades in the entertainment industry.
She has also hosted radio programmes, authored the memoir Kahi Ankahi and received several honours, including the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Arts Council of Pakistan for her contributions to radio and television.
