Ogra takes notice of LPG price hike
The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) has taken notice of ‘hike’ in prices of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG).
LPG price are too up by Rs5 per kg following the increase in the petroleum prices. Distributors Association Chairman Irfan Khokhar said the government should take immediate notice of the increase otherwise the situation could become worse.
An Ogra spokesperson said no increase in LPG prices was made. “The price of LPG has been maintained as per the notification on May 31. Action will be taken against the profiteers” the official said.
