Five die due to toxic gas in Rawalpindi well

Five people died in a well due to presence of a toxic gas in there in the Rawat area of Rawalpindi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

According to police, a man fell unconscious in a well in Rawat area after inhaling gas toxic gas in there.

For his rescue, seven more people entered the well, but they too became unconscious.

On information, Rawat police and rescue teams reached the spot, and they rescued three of the people who had entered the well. The other five people were recovered dead.

Their bodies were shifted to a hospital for post-mortem.

The deceased were identified as Zafar, Azhar, Ejaz, Ayyan, and Muhammad Siddique.
