A few days ago, the social media was abuzz with the news that the State Bank of Pakistan has finalized the design of commemorative banknote of Rs75 which is supposed to be released on Pakistan’s 75th anniversary on Aug 14, 2022, but the central bank denied finalizing the design of the currency bill terming the image fake, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

But later, the State Bank on its Twitter handle clarified that the design circulating on various social media platforms regarding commemorative banknote to be issued on the 75th independence day of Pakistan was fake.
