Bilawal Bhutto to visit Japan, US next month
Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will pay important visits to Japan and the United States (US) in the next month of July, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday citing diplomatic sources.
The foreign minister will also visit Larkana for one day on Saturday next. He was scheduled to visit the Chinese city of Tianjin on a three-day tour on June 27, 2023.
He, however, canceled his visit to China to go to Dubai, and he is now in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on the same dates. He will celebrate Eid with his sister Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari and nephews in the UAE.
Bilawal Bhutto will visit Japan from July 2 to 3 next where he will meet Japanese Foreign Minister Yoshimasa Hayashi. He will also hold special meetings with businessmen and investors.
The promotion of bilateral relations and the export of Pakistani products and manpower to Japan will be discussed during the foreign minister’s visit.
Bilawal Bhutto will leave for the US from Japan where he will attend a conference of an important US think tank.
He will also hold meetings with several US authorities during which discussions on betterment in Pak-US relations, US support in the IMF loan programme, and challenges to bilateral relations.
