Helen Flanagan slams driving ban in chaotic social media rant

Former Coronation Street actress Helen Flanagan unleashed a chaotic and emotional rant five months after receiving a six-month driving ban for speeding.

Venting her frustrations over losing her driving licence and the mounting pressures of single motherhood, the 34-year-old star said the ban had left her isolated and struggling to run basic errands.

“We’re out of loo roll and I can’t pop to the shop. I live in the middle of nowhere!” Helen fumed, admitting she even had to rely on a friend to bring her toilet paper.

Flanagan was disqualified from driving in January after failing to identify the driver of her £66,000 Audi Q7, which was caught speeding twice in Merseyside – once at 42mph in a 30mph zone and again at 51mph in a 40mph zone.

At the time, she claimed it was her ex-partner, former footballer Robbie Talbot, behind the wheel.

Despite telling the court she couldn’t afford taxis and that her remote location made car travel essential, her pleas were rejected.

She now says her ADHD caused her to mix up paperwork while reapplying for her licence, delaying the process even further.

Helen revealed she was currently co-parenting under the same roof with ex-fiancé Scott Sinclair, the father of her three children despite their bitter 2022 split.

“Scott is off at football but we’re back co-parenting in the same house,  which we don’t usually do,” she shared. “But it actually went OK… we had to do it for the kids' birthdays.”

The couple had previously lived in a £1.5 million home, which Helen has now been forced to put on the market due to financial struggles.

In court, she stated she earned £70,000 last year, but that her income is inconsistent, making basic expenses like a £10 taxi to her son’s nursery difficult.
