20-ton iron rods theft halts Sarai Alamgir flyover project

Thieves stole 20 tons of iron rods worth Rs5 million from the under-construction Rajar Flyover in Sarai Alamgir, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
Several other reports of corruption and theft in the project have also surfaced.
The manager of a private company approached the City Police Station to lodge a theft case against the accused staff.
Legal proceedings were initiated against four individuals, including a security guard.
Police investigated the crime scene and launched an investigation.
