Former contestant Zainab Raja’s explosive Tamasha claims leave fans stunned
Former Tamasha contestant Zainab Raja has stirred fresh debate online after making a series of allegations about ARY Digital’s reality show, claiming viewers never got to see the complete picture.
Taking to Instagram, Zainab shared a video announcing what she described as a "tell-all" session, saying she was finally ready to reveal details she had never discussed publicly.
She recalled a moment from the show when host Badshah Salamat asked her whether Tamasha was scripted, but the conversation never continued on air.
According to Zainab, the full interaction never made it to the final broadcast because, she alleged, important parts were edited out.
During the video, she claimed she had previously stayed silent because she was either expected not to discuss certain matters or had personally chosen not to reveal them at the time. She said she now wanted to share what she experienced during her stay inside the house.
Among her biggest claims was her allegation that Badshah Salamat, played by veteran actor Adnan Siddiqui, was not fully aware of everything happening inside the house before filming.
According to Zainab, the host was allegedly given a script before entering the set and guided through an earpiece, with directors instructing him on what to say during interactions with contestants.
She further alleged that some announcements heard by contestants inside the house were actually made by members of the production team rather than Badshah Salamat himself.
According to her, those announcements were later dubbed with Adnan Siddiqui’s voice before the episodes were aired.
Zainab also questioned the transparency of the show's voting process. Responding to a follower during an Instagram Q&A, she alleged that there was no proper public voting system and claimed the official app was "bugged."
She further alleged that public votes did not determine eliminations, suggesting that production decisions, social media engagement, public relations, and online popularity played a much bigger role in deciding contestants' fate.
While explaining her point, she referred to contestant Rida’s elimination as an example of why she believed the voting process was unreliable.
The former contestant also made several claims about the living conditions inside the Tamasha house. She alleged that bedsheets were not changed or washed during the two months contestants stayed there, claimed that two female contestants suffered from head lice, and alleged that cleaning and maintenance staff entered the house after lights were switched off at night.
Her claims quickly spread across social media, where viewers began debating how much of reality television is truly unscripted.
