Pakistani actors Humayun Saeed and Adnan Siddiqui paid tribute to frontline medical staff battling a worsening coronavirus outbreak that has infected nearly 1,238 people in Pakistan.

Taking to Instagram, Humayun Saeed wrote : "We salute all of our doctors, nurses, paramedics and health officials who are at the forefront of the coronavirus war. Let us all give them lots and lots of love and express our gratitude to them by going out to our terraces and rooftops and wave white flags on Friday, 27th March, 6pm."

Adnan Siddiqui called the front-liners "brave warriors" saying they "offer their services while we're all safe at home, we love you."

“See you everyone at the terrace at 6pm and let’s wave the white flag as much as we can to show our appreciation and gratitude,” Adnan said.
