Shops to shut down by 8pm in Punjab: Buzdar
Punjab CM says backed by the armed forces, the civil administration is doing its best to combat coronavirus.
Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has made big decisions to cope with coronavirus challenge.
Utility stores will be closed at 8pm, the CM directed, adding that availability of basic foodstuff, including flour, will be ensured at all costs.
He warned against violation of the restriction rules, saying that anyone involved in defying the directives will face the music.
Availability corona kits and personal protection equipment for medics will be ensured and quarantines cleanliness campaign will commence after the departure of pilgrims, Buzdar said.
He said on the directives of PM Imran Khan, goods transport service will continue while public transport will follow restriction.
Checking of the coronavirus hotspots will be intensified and the affected areas to face more restraints, he said and promised package for the poor.
Backed by the armed forces, officials of the civil administration have been doing their best in battle against the virus.
Military personnel, commissioners, police and other officials engaged in war on virus deserve appreciation.
With affect from tomorrow, the decisions are made for public safety. A committee under the finance minister will brief about these measures.
