Markets catch fire in Karachi, Pattoki

Fire broke out in two different markets in the country on Sunday causing losses of millions of rupees, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
A fire broke out in Karachi’s Chawla Market and Pattoki’s Lunda Bazaar in which goods worth millions of rupees burnt to ashes.
In Karachi, a short-circuit triggered the blaze in Chawla Market with high intensity and also reached the nearby wooden carts.
Only one fire hydrant has been trying to extinguish the fire but locals expressed fear it would not overcome the fire intensity sooner.
There were residential buildings located near the burning market as well.
In Pattoki, goods worth millions of rupees were gutted as two shops caught fire due to short-circuit.
Local authorities and rescue teams reached the site and launched a rescue operation.
