Public service delivery check: CM Naqvi visits Sialkot

Punjab Chief Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi has paid a visit to the Sialkot district to inspect the public service delivery.
The CM visited the free flour distribution centres and listened to the people.
He inspected the quality and quantity of the flour being distributed to the people.
He listened to the people and issued directives to redress public grievances.
“Free flour should be given to every citizen,” he said and ordered the deputy commissioners to take steps to address the public complaints.
Talking to the media, the chief minister expressed satisfaction with the free flour distribution mechanism.
However, he stressed that the government will bring in a betterment to address the public complaints.
He said: “The crackdown on hoarders and profiteers is underway and the government will not leave any stone unturned for better public service delivery.”
The CM said crops were badly damaged due to flooding this year and the government is planning to import fruits from Iran and other countries.
He also paid a visit to the Civil Hospital in Sialkot and listened to the people there.
He went to the cardiac ward and enquired after the patients.
Woman seeks help against land mafia
During the visit, a woman made it to the CM to seek his help against the land mafia.
The chief minister ordered the authorities concerned to redress her grievances at the earliest.
