Lahore court awards 7-year jail to terrorist

An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Lahore on Friday sentenced terrorist Umar Gul Khan, member of a banned organization, to seven years of rigorous imprisonment for possessing explosive material, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Judge Shahid Sikandar announced the verdict. Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) produced the terrorist and evidence in the court.

The terrorist is a resident of Waziristan. The CTD further stated that the terrorist is a member of a banned organization and is involved in various terrorist activities.

After his crime was proven. The Court awarded him a jail term of seven years. The Court also ordered the seizure of the property owned by the terrorist on behalf of the government.

Later, the court sent terrorist Umar Gul Khan to Kot Lakhpat Jail in Lahore.
